Attree Images

On Thursday, Michael Scott Lees and I took a drive with Stephanie and Vassanta up to the Atherton Tableland with the view to shoot some underwater images in Lake Eacham. There wasn't too many people around but we still had to be fairly stealthy to avoid giving the tourists a free show. 

Michael was using a Canon 5D Mk II with an Ikelite housing and scuba gear so he was fully kitted out. My set up was considerably more basic and consisted of a Nikon D200 with a Tamron 14mm f2.8 in a Dicapac SLR waterproof case (glorified plastic bag). While quite cumbersome and awkward to use, the results weren't too bad. 

We were just heading back into the little jetty we were working from when a big group of school children came along to have lunch and a swim. Luckily we managed to get the girls out of the water and covered up before any of them saw what we were up to :)
