A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with an excellent model who I have photographed a number of times before but unfortunately not for a couple of years.

Anna was keen to shoot some new images for her portfolio so we grabbed a few dresses from an up and coming designer names Undral, packed up the car full of cameras, lighting gear, a couple of assistants and my newly acquired smoke machine!

I've always had the idea of doing a shoot with a smoke machine in the pine forests on the way to the Sunshine Coast north of Brisbane so I though this was a good opportunity to see what results I could achieve. As it turned out, I was very happy with the results and I'm definitely keen to put the smoke machine to more good use. 

The lighting for these shots was achieved with a Profoto Acute B battery pack and head with a Profoto beauty dish attached.

Additional backlighting was done with a couple of Nikon SB800 speedlights and all the flashes were triggered using Pocketwizard Plus II's.
