I first met Alisha at a charity runway modeling competition I was photographing, which she happened to win. I could see straight away that she had something special as her personality really shone through. Last night I got to see her in action again. 

Last night Alisha came along to my Tafe class to model for one of my students who had another model cancel due to illness. Alisha was kind enough to step in rather last minute and did an amazing job considering she has very little modeling experience and virtually no experience in front of the camera. On top of that she had no sleep the night before so it really was a mighty effort on her part. 

I was extremely impressed with Alisha's confidence and movement in front of the camera and I just couldn't resist shooting some images for myself in the last half hour. 

I'm really looking forward to shooting again with Alisha as I know she is only going to get better and better with the more experience she gets. 

Images were captured on a Nikon D3s / AF Nikkor 85mm f1.4 D and the lighting was done with a Profoto Pro-7a generator with two Profoto Proheads on either side of Alisha with strip softboxes attached. A third Profoto head with a beauty dish was aimed at the background to give a little bit more separation and fall off.
