Late one evening after dinner, a few of us wandered around the resort grounds looking for some available light locations to do an impromptu shoot and I was keen to try out some high ISO images on my Nikon D3. The following 3 images were shot with an AF 50mm f1.4 @ 6400 ISO. Of course if I had the newly announced Nikon D3s to shoot with I could have been shooting at 25600 ISO and I would have achieved the same low noise performance.

My final shoot with Candace on this trip was a fairly lazy Sunday afternoon affair with both of us feeling very tired after a long week of shooting. We waited until most of the heat of the day had passed and it wasn't long before we got into the groove and made some great images. Candace was still having some trouble with "bitey things" but continued on like the trooper she is.
