I'm about to spend 10 days in tropical North Queensland based at Mission Beach, south of Cairns where I will be mixing it up with a great group of like minded photographers and models from around the world, all of whom work in the artistic nude genre. 

This group spawned from an online community of photographers and models who, for the past 7 years, have been meeting every 12 months in an amazing location around the world to spend a week or two shooting fine art nudes, chatting about photography in general and of course, socialising and having some fun. 

I was introduced to this group last December when I had the great fortune to work with an American model named Candace Nirvana while she was traveling around Australia.

Candace was quite impressed with my work so she told me about http://figuremodels.org and suggested I should join the online community. She also told me about these annual get togethers and said she would put my name forward for an invite. 

So this will be my first Fine Art Nude Artist Retreat and it just so happens to be in Oz this year. I will be attempting to blog as much as I can while I am away to let you all know what a fantastic time I'm having and to share with you some of the results.
